Iyengar Yoga
The Iyengar method of Yoga, named after its founder B. K. S. Iyengar (1918-2014), focuses on gradual progress. This step-by-step approach, tailored to the needs of each student, allows everyone to work with their body, mind and spirit in harmony and at their own pace.
The use of props such as cushions, belts or chairs diminishes the risk of injury and enables even beginners or ill patients to enjoy the full benefits of postures that might otherwise demand years of practice to master.
Whether you are looking for a way to enhance your practice in a personalized way, or wish to experience for yourself the many benefits that Yoga can bring to your health, we would love to hear from you!

Classes
Group Classes
Each student works at their own level and is given elements like belts, blocks, bolsters and kuruntas to work which either support and soften the poses or to deepen and challenge the poses.
Kuruntas (rope wall) are especially beneficial for spine health through use of traction to relieve pressure from compressed vertebral discs. They can also be used to create deep opening in the organic body, which nourishes the organs, soothes the nerves, and quiets the mind.

There are two levels, one for beginners and the other for intermediate practitioners with one year of experience practicing yoga minimum.
Private Classes
Private classes can be arranged at the studio or at your home at the convenient time for you. A private class is the best way to work on your form and alignment.
Restorative classes are recommended to work an injury or post surgery.
You will receive a personal program that will be designed especially to suit your needs.
Pregnancy Classes
Prepare your body before pregnancy, during all pregnancy stages and after childbirth.

Yoga helps you breathe and relax, which in turn can help you adjust to the physical demands of pregnancy, labor, birth, and motherhood. It calms both mind and body, providing the physical and emotional stress relief your body needs throughout pregnancy.
Yoga for the spine
Therapeutic treatment for spine, such as: Cervical Rectification , Thoracic Thyphosis , Hyperlordosis, Discopathies, Hernias, Cervicalgia, upper back pain, low back pain and Sciatica.

The treatment is based on the Iyengar method, which focuses on axial stretching, flexibility, and proper alignment of the spine. All treatment is personalized based on the pathology and needs of the patient.
Kurunta yoga
It was first developed by BKS Iyengar, who used it as a prop to support and intensify his asana practice.
Kurunta yoga, which means “yoga puppetry.”
Benefits of using the yoga rope wall
The ropes work by using gravity as a natural form of resistance, causing the body to open much further than in regular yoga practice, this releases tension from the joints and deeply stretches the entire muscular-skeletal body.
Rope poses are especially beneficial for spine health through use of traction to relieve pressure from compressed vertebral discs. They can also be used to create deep opening in the organic body, which nourishes the organs, soothes the nerves, and quiets the mind.
Think about it!!!
The bats and sloths are the only two mammals in the animal kingdom that don’t get arthritis, they spend much of their lives hanging upside down. Because of this their joints escape the typical wear and tear that other creatures experience, and they suffer from less joint degeneration as a result.
